Assigning Dashboard Layouts

You now have created your Visualizations and put them in a Dashboard Layout. The final step of customizing your Dashboard experience. You can assign Dashboard Layouts to on the Team Training Groups and Sub-Training Group levels. You can also control which members of your team see what layouts, and what the Athletes can see in their Dashboard experience. There is an unlimited number of configurations that are possible for your system. It is your data, on your athletes, how you want to see it.

Step 1: On your side menu, click on Visualizations -> Dashboard Layouts

Step 2: Click on the Dashboard Layout you wish to Assign

Step 3:  Click on Manage Assignments 

Step 4:  Click on '+ Group'

Step 5:  Here, you can select the training group(s) you wish to assign the layout to as well as the Dashboard Context. Dashboard Context refers to whether you want this layout to be applied as a Group, Individual, or Home Dashboard. Coach and Individual contexts are what coaches and administrators see, and Home context applies to what athletes see when they navigate to their 'My Data' tab from their home screen. Note: You can use one layout for all three contexts, as long as the dashboards contained within can be used as a Group or Individual dashboard, as indicated in the builder list as 'ATHLETE/GROUP'.

Once satisfied, click on Assign.

Step 6:  To further control who sees what, click the down arrow on your assigned Layout.

Step 7:  This section allows you to restrict layout viewing to certain Roles or Individual Users. This is useful when you have a layout that contains data that is only pertinent to one group or user from your staff (ie. Rehab Dashboard for Physical Therapists, Training Dashboard for Strength Coaches, etc.)

Step 8:  Once you are satisfied with the assignment, click on Save.
