Create an Exercise
Step 1: On the home page, select Program Builder on the menu located on the left-hand side.
Step 2: You will be brought to a new page with a new list of menus. To create an Exercise, select Library, then Exercises, and then click on the green Create Exercise button.
Step 3: You will then be brought to a menu with a form for you to fill out. You can start by adding a Title to your exercise:
To upload a video, click on the Select Attachment button. Select the file of your choice and select Open. You can also elect to paste a link from a video service such as YouTube.
Next, fill in the rest of the information for your exercise.
Step 4: Notes for Athlete – Insert any notes you would like for the user to see when performing the exercise.
Step 5: Add tags. This will allow you to categorize your exercise to make it easier to navigate the exercise list in the future. You can add as many tags to an exercise as you'd like, and you can also create your own.
Step 6: Change Exercise Properties. To do this, you can click on the gear wheel and it will bring up the properties menu.
The list will populate in this dialogue box and allow you to choose constraints. You can choose as many constraints as you'd like for an exercise. (NOTE: Weight and One Rep Max are the only two that cannot be used simultaneously because they are both used to prescribe a weight for the set.)
After you are satisfied with your settings, click on the Save icon in the upper right and it will appear in the Exercise list. If you want to edit the exercise, select it from the exercise list. If there is a video attached, the Open option will be available so you can review the attachment.
Building a Circuit
Step 1: Accessing the Program Builder
To begin, log in to your CoachMePlus account and navigate to the program builder. This is the place where you can create, manage, and organize workout programs and circuits.
Step 2: Accessing the Circuit Library
Once inside the program builder, click on the "Library" tab, and then select "Circuits." Here, you will find the existing circuits available in the system. However, for this guide, we will create a new circuit from scratch.
Step 3: Creating a New Circuit
Click on the "Create" button to start building your new circuit. Give your circuit a title, such as "Mike's Circuit," to help you identify it easily later on when using the filtering tool. Optionally, you can add a note, like "Basic Circuit Demo," which will appear for your athletes whenever they access this circuit in their program.
Step 4: Adding Exercises to the Circuit
Now, it's time to add exercises to your circuit. Click on the "+" button next to "Exercise" to add the first exercise. For example, let's add "Barbell Bench Press." Type in the exercise name, and the platform will suggest exercises matching your input. Select the appropriate exercise from the suggestions.
Repeat the process to add other exercises to your circuit. For this demonstration, we'll add "Barbell Bent Over Row" and "Push-Up" exercises to create a simple circuit.
Step 5: Setting Sets and Repetitions
Once you have added the exercises, it's time to specify the sets and repetitions for each exercise in the circuit. Click on each exercise to adjust its sets and reps.
For instance:
- Barbell Bench Press: 5 sets of 4 reps
- Barbell Bent Over Row: 5 sets of 10 reps
- Push-Up: 5 sets of 15 reps
Feel free to adjust the numbers according to your athletes' specific needs and training goals.
Step 6: Save the Circuit
After setting the sets and reps for each exercise, click on the "Save" button to finalize and save your circuit. Congratulations! Your basic circuit is now saved and ready to use in your coaching.
Step 7: Accessing the Saved Circuit
To access your saved circuit, simply go back to the circuit library or use the search function to find it. Type in the circuit title you used earlier, such as "Mike's Circuit," and it will appear in the search results.
How to Create a Program
Once you are satisfied with the Exercises and Circuits available to you, you can begin assigning Programs to your athletes. In the WP2 system, there are preset programs available to you, which will be fully built out for you to use. These are known as CM+ Programs. You can also customize programs based on circuits and exercises you have built or would like to add to a new program. This guide will walk you through how to create a program.
Step 1. Login to the WP2 Platform and select “Program Builder”.
Next, Select Library
And then Select Programs
Step 2. Creating a Program
Select the blue button to create a program from other circuits or exercises.
Step 3: Program Details:
Title your program, select a start date, and then save to continue into building the program.
Step 4: Program Start Details:
Select a day on the calendar view, and add a circuit or exercise from the day. Adding a circuit will include the entire list of exercises in a circuit. If you choose “Exercise,” you will be building the circuit on the fly. For this walkthrough, we’ll add through circuits.
Step 5: Filtering for Circuits:
When you add a circuit, you can add existing circuits via search and can also narrow down by sources and categories.
Step 6. Adding to Program Day
Once you have selected your circuit, you’ll receive a preview and confirm. Once confirmed, that circuit will be added to the Program Day. You can add multiple circuits to one day of a program, and can also customize the circuit.
Step 7. Copying Program Days
Once your desired programs are added to a day, you can copy that day and paste it onto other days throughout the program by click the three dots on a program day.
Step 8. Continue this process to build out entire workout programs:
How to Assign a Program

Step 1. Select the "Library" and then the “Programs” option on the left.
Step 2. Select from the available programs the program you want to assign to your athletes, or create a program
Step 3. Select “Assign to Athlete(s)” button in the top-right of your screen.
