Installing DoD Root CA Profiles to iPad's

If using an iPad to access WP2, specific Root CA Profiles are needed to authenticate the users CAC card. The steps below outline that process.

Downloading Profiles to iPad

Download profiles to the iPad from the attached file below titled: SignedRootCAs.mobileconfig

Profiles included in the download are:

• DoD Root CA 3
• DoD Root CA 4
• DoD Root CA 5
• DoD Root CA 6

After downloading, search for the Files app on the iPad and then tap the file to open them and add to the device.

Installing Profiles

On your iPad, go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.

Tap on DoD Root CA's by Warrior Performance Platform (WP2).

Trust the Root CA Downloads

Navigate to Settings > General > About > Certificate Trust Settings > Enable Full Trust for Root Certificates (DoD Root CA 3 through 6)

Once downloaded, installed, and then trusted on the iPad the user should now be able to login to a site utilizing their DoD provided CAC.
